With a new liferaft (2021), updated safety gear, and a powerful electric windlass, this is a safe, reliable, and thoroughly modernised cruising yacht that invites its next owner to step aboard and start making memories. Built in 1978, her condition is a true testament to the high-quality Scandinavian craftsmanship for which LM is renowned. Neatly laid out and well equipped, she features in-mast furling for the mainsail and roller furling for the genoa both sails were professionally serviced and cleaned in 2021. The batteries were replaced the same year, and the engine received a full service. Since then, she has seen only light use, serving primarily as a comfortable floating base within the marina. Recently cleaned, she presents very well. We would, however, recommend that she be lifted, cleaned, and re-antifouled below the waterline before next season. A sturdy and thoughtfully designed motor-sailer, the LM24 offers surprising interior space and a reassuringly safe feel at sea.
