Southerly 100 LIFTING KEEL REF#344635

2025-08-04 23:45:56| Boatshed.com Recent Boats

Register with Boatshed to see 75 extra photos of this Southerly 100 LIFTING KEEL.This is a boat which ticks a lot of boxes. She is an excellent family boat, lovely cruising boat and has the advantage of two helming positions, one in the cockpit and the other in the wheel house. No need for round the world oilskins in adverse weather and a lot warmer for those night passages. Down below the forward cabin has two separate berths, in the saloon there is ample seating around the cockpit table which can convert to a large double berth with a settee berth opposite. The pilot house helm is to starboard with the heads behind. The good sized galley is opposite with a quarter berth to the stern. She has had a lot of money spent on her in the last few years including a new rubbing strake fitted, hull professionally polished, new copper coat applied and new hull windows fitted. In 2021 she was professionally treated for osmosis, hot vac treatment and then gelshielded. New foresail fitted 2023 and a new main in 2021. With her furling genoa and inmast furling main, sailing can't be made any easier. She has the advantage of being able to dry out on sandy beaches and harbours and also those cheaper moorings! Some of her varnish work needs some TLC but essentially this is a boat that deserves to be viewed. These boat details are subject to contract. Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered. This Southerly 100 LIFTING KEEL has been personally photographed and viewed by Keith Doust on 07968 375172 of Boatshed Wales.

Register with Boatshed to see 123 extra photos of this Westerly Conway ketch rig.I have to say this Westerly Conway is the best one I have ever seen she has had a beautiful professional refit with no expense spared The standard of workmanship and the quality of materials used during the refurbishment are of the highest order. The teak and joinery inside and out has been extremely well done. She wants for nothing regarding navigation instrumentation. She has a watermaker and a new engine in 2011. New Hydrovane windvane fitted last year New wind instruments fitted last year New bowthruster fitted last year New eberspacher heating fitted last year New wind generator, and single side band radio. Dufour Arpege 30 REF#344605

2025-07-31 20:46:13| Boatshed.com Recent Boats

Register with Boatshed to see 106 extra photos of this Dufour Arpege 30 .Here is an example of one of these very popular Dufour Arpege vintage yachts - we can all see that she'll need some work and some more cleaning, but underneath it all, I'm sure that there's a lovely yacht waiting to burst out and be sailed! Lines led aft and a a decent sized cockpit lead down below to a large and surprisingly roomy interior, divided into three sections - the galley and navigation area, with the largest, most voluminous chart table that I've ever seen, plus two berths and a moulded galley section. These lead to a saloon area, with four berths and lots of stowage, followed by the bow section, housing a large sail locker and an athwartships heads/locker compartment. With some elbow grease, care and attention, she may make someone a really nice yacht - a surprisingly large package at a truly budget price. These boat details are subject to contract. De Vries Lentsch Dutch Steel Yawl REF#344577

2025-07-31 19:45:58| Boatshed.com Recent Boats

Register with Boatshed to see 142 extra photos of this De Vries Lentsch Dutch Steel Yawl .This lovely De Vries Lentsch is really very easy on the eye and should attract attention, wherever she goes! The Dutch shipyard, De Vries Lentsch was founded in 1874. Originally constructing wooden rowing boats, they progressed to small traditional Dutch sailing craft and then changed to building in steel and dominated the market for many years. In 1960 the design arm separated and continues today in Edam, responsible for drawing some of the most well known steel superyachts in the world. We don't know a great deal about the history of this particular De Vries yacht, built by Doornbos Yard - she refitted a couple of years ago, before the current vendors purchased her. She appears really solid, the hull looks fair, she's recently painted and a high quality looking original fit out down below has been well maintained and feels dry and fresh. She has a full set of high quality looking and very recent upper deck canvasworks. Some sympathetic changes have been made down below and I felt instantly cosy and at home, once inside - it really is a lovely place to be and could envisage extended stays and cruises on board. These boat details are subject to contract. Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered. This De Vries Lentsch Dutch Steel Yawl has been personally photographed and viewed by Tim Kingston of Boatshed Brighton.
