Register with Boatshed to see 48 extra photos of this Wide Beam 50 x 10'6 Trad Stern .This is a very unusual fit out and the owner used to be a guitar maker, hence the amount of wood used in the boat. The boat is quite minimalist and is mainly open plan with a raised area aft which the owner used to sleep on. The small heads is also at the back with a wash basin and Porta Potti.
There is a Clarke Boxwood Deluxe Wood Burning Stove in the saloon which provides plenty of heat and can also be used for cooking on the plates.
There is a shower that is hidden behind a pull out circular privacy unit and the galley also has a central circular table with storage. There is a 4 burner cooker, oven and grill, sink and a gas water heater.
There are 4 hand-made stools that come apart and store on the side walls of the boat.
The boat needs some TLC and offers someone an element of freedom to create their own bespoke space.
The boat has recently had a hull survey and has had a flat bar edge around the boat welded on as the previous had worn down. 4 New anodes were fitted also. I have a copy of the survey and invoice for the work done.
The boat is presently moored on the Leeds Liverpool near Rufford but will move around as necessary. It has always been a constant cruiser though the owner does not live on the boat anymore.

Register with Boatshed to see 62 extra photos of this Sadler 34 SE AFT CABIN.This Sadler 34 SE, (which is the Special Edition Version) has been in the same ownership since new. She has been lovingly cared for from day 1. She comes out of the water every October and is relaunched ready for the new season in April or May. Her owner is a very experienced yachtsman who takes great pride in his yacht and is fastidious in the way he has taken care of her.
Sadlers were built by Sadler Yachts, a great combination of a father and son team, as designer and builder. The Sadler 34 SE is designed to be unsinkable as she has an internal foam core. She is an easy boat to sail single handed or with family or friends.
This is the shallow draft version and she comes with a set of beaching legs which mean when dried out she can sit safely on the legs. With her 28hp engine she can happily cruise at 6 knots but 7 knots is available if needed.
The accommodation, which is in good condition, has a forward cabin with 2 single berths which convert to a double with an infill. The heads are to port with a good sized hanging locker opposite. The main saloon is a good size with plenty of room around the cabin table, which can be dropped making another double berth. Opposite is a decent sized settee berth. The galley is to port with the chart table opposite, behind which is the aft cabin with another double berth.
This is probably the best Sadler 34SE around, don't delay make an appointment to view.

This 1981 vessel has clearly been loved for many years by her owners and really is a unique and tidy example of the type which has had lots of improvements and money spent maintaining and upgrading her to keep her in the condition she currently is.
She has at some time been very nicely refitted to a high standard with light wood and the joinery is all very good. her layout is very much a larger Hampton safari with Large aft double cabin with dresser and plenty of storage. well equipped galley to port with fridge full size cooker, microwave oven sink drainer and plenty of storage . A very good sized shoer and heads compartment to starboard with heating outlet and basin with vanity . Forward is the saloon with helm to port and freestanding seating table and tv, dvd and storage cabinets all in matching joinery throughout. The helm is well equipped with Bow thruster and rear view camera. The forward well has three lockers and soft furnishings and is very comfortable. She has a well-maintained BMC engine that appears to start and run very nicely indeed, and was professionally serviced by a local marine engineer in August 25. These single level Bounty boats have a good following with the and with her low profile they can go everywhere on the Broads with ease.
This particular boat has a long list of improvements and maintenance.

Register with Boatshed to see 130 extra photos of this Helmsman Trawlers 38 Pilothouse .These boats are well-built and this one clearly illustrates the longevity that comes from solid construction, quality materials, and an owner's attentive care.
Originally imported and sold as a Mariner Yachts International 37 Seville Pilothouse, this model is the predecessor to the current Helmsman Trawlers 38 Pilothouse and is dimensionally equal. Its Hull Identification Number identifies it as a Mariner.
The interior is spacious and richly nautical. This boat gives the impression of being much larger than its size implies -- the salon offers more comfortable living space than most 45 foot vessels. The second day head and the adjacent convertible dinette create a private suite for when guests are aboard, and the extended pilothouse actually serves as a comfortable living area in addition to its piloting function. This boat has a custom galley configuration with quality appliances, extensive counter space, and a breakfast bar for two. The flybridge provides a great view and room for a sizable social event. Many large opening windows, two opening hatches, and three opening portholes create a bright and well-ventilated interior. Additional features include newer Garmin navigation electronics at both helms, Hurricane hydronic heating system, a solar panel system, and leather upholstery. A stern thruster has also been added to complement the original bow thruster.
With her Cummins QSB 5.9 litre 230 hp engine she performs frugally at 7 or 8 knots, and has additional power when needed.
These boats required many many labor hours to build, much of it detailed hand work. Along with the abundant use of solid woods and other quality materials it's a remarkable value for a sturdy, trawler-yacht. The quality of materials and construction are evident with teak and holly floors, beautiful teak joinery, heavy fittings and rails, sturdy deck sections, and thick engine compartment sound insulation. Compare this boat to a Nordic Tug 37 or 39, or to an American Tug 34, 365, or 395. You'll find that the Helmsman is roomier, has a more finely-crafted interior, and is built to a very high standard.
The hull is solidly built, and its design has proven to be very capable for long-range coastal cruising.
