We seek applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Communication and Film Production, to begin on September 1, 2025. We seek an outstanding film/visual media practitioner and scholar/artist to teach Film Studies and Production. Must have a M.F.A. or Ph.D. in Film, Communication, Media Studies, or a related discipline or ABD status with evidence that degree will be completed by September 1, 2025. College-level teaching experience and a growing or established record of creative scholarship in Film Studies and Production, required. Expertise in film and video production, such as pre-production, producing, directing, editing, cinematography, lighting, audio, postproduction, broadcast production, and/or screenwriting preferred.
