Barclays has started to pay out to customers after suffering from a major system failure. Customers who are entitled to receive compensation will notice a distinctive entry in their mobile app transaction list, labelled "Barclays UK Refu" alongside the amount paid out. Some may be surprised when they find extra money in their accounts since notification letters may lag behind the actual payments.
