Dealing with Acne? Try One of These Salicylic Acid Cleansers

A cleanser is the foundation of any good acne-fighting routine. It's the first thing that touches your face in the morning and at night, and the correct formulation can exfoliate, control excess oil production, and prevent breakouts. The star ingredient of any great acne cleanser is salicylic acid."Salicylic acid is what we call a beta-hydroxy acid (BHA), and it helps to exfoliate the millions of dead cells our skin sheds each day," explains board-certified dermatologist Mona Gohara. "Salicylic acid is lipophilic, which means that it can cut through the sebum and the oils on our skin, making it one of the more effective exfoliants for acne-prone skin."Shop The Best Salicylic Acid CleansersBest OverallSaint Jane Pore Clarity CleanserRead moreBest For Adult Acne Skinfix Acne+ 2% BHA + Azelaic Acid + Niacinamide + AHA CleanserRead moreBest Under $10Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Fighting Face WashRead moreOf course, there are different kinds of acne-prone skinyou can be dry and acne-prone, sen...

Home Government News Law firms fear Trump WASHINGTON (AP) President Donald Trump says his executive orders targeting law firms are being issued in the name of national security, with the White House asserting that the firms dont deserve access to sensitive U.S. government information. But the firms fear the orders are being written so broadly as to potentially weaken national security by calling into question the status of security clearances of lawyers who, in addition to their legal practice, serve as military reservists and require their clearances to report to duty. Its an example of the sweeping and sometimes unintended consequences of White House efforts to reshape civil society, with those affected in some instances not necessarily being the ones who were top of mind when the Trump administration announced the actions in the first place. Military veterans, for instance, have not been spared from Trumps ongoing slashing of the federal government.Trumps law firm executive...

We all need care and support to navigate challenges in life. Help can come from formal support (paid professionals and government programs), and from natural support networks (family, friends and neighbours). As the CCCEs executive director, Liv Mendelsohn, said: Millions of Canadians are navigating caregiving with minimal support, and its simply unacceptable. This articles co-author, Donna Thomson, is a caregiver, author...
