The Digital Content Manager is primarily responsible for developing and executing new media strategies for our television and all its digital platforms, including web, mobile, and other content. The position is responsible for improving functionality of the digital platforms on a day-to-day basis including improving navigation and usability. This includes daily content, editing content, upkeep of site sections, video editing/producing, social media management, HTML coding, and web-exclusive content. Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, Digital Media or other related field. Must have at least 3 years of leading other digital journalists and developing digital strategies or relevant other newsroom experience. Solid journalistic judgment and a news philosophy that emphasizes accurate, fair, and unique local content, along with community engagement, required.
