The Film and Public Programs Manager is responsible for helping manage and implement year-round film and moving image programming across our screens and public programming. This junior administrative role reports to and works closely with the Senior Curator of Film to actualize and optimize ongoing film programming and works collaboratively with other departments, including Exhibitions, Marketing, Education, and Special Events. The Film and Public Programs Manager has a deep knowledge and understanding of film booking, scheduling, and shipping, as well as the ability to run and administrate the Content Management System (CMS) for the website. The Film and Public Programs Manager is an essential part of the team, and a primary contact for many of the organization's external collaborators, including distributors, archivists, and community partners. Strong editorial, writing, and interoffice communication skills are necessary; presence during weekends and after-hours is occasionally required. Significant experience with film booking required.
