Social Video Producer

The Social Video Producer is responsible for the development and production of short-form editorial content distributed on our social accounts such as TikTok and Instagram. The producer must have the ability to develop, produce, and edit engaging storytelling that aligns with the company's brand and editorial focus on science, history, animals, travel and health. Under the supervision of the director of video, the producer will collaborate with our video producers and editorial staff to create primarily vertical video adapted to formats and editing styles authentic to social platforms. The producer will be responsible for pieces ranging from quick-turn pieces responding to current events to long-range evergreen stories and features. Must have a minimum of 3 years of professional vertical video production experience (i.e. specifically with TikTok and Instagram); previous work on explainer content a plus.
