We invite applications for a full-time Lecturer position in English to begin August 1, 2025. The selected candidate will be appointed to a 9-month, non-tenure eligible faculty position for an initial two-year period, with the potential for renewal and for promotion to Senior Lecturer after five years. We seek applicants with experience teaching undergraduate courses in Creative Writing, Literature, and Film, with demonstrated evidence of teaching success. The ideal candidate will have expertise Creative Writing as well as Modernism, Post Colonialism, and Contemporary Fiction. We are particularly interested in candidates who have multiple years of experience teaching a broad range of courses including introductory creative writing, creative writing workshops in poetry and fiction, African-American literature, women's literature, and technology and film, among others. A PhD in Literature and Creative Writing or an MFA in Creative Writing is required. Full details of the role & how to apply can be found below.
