Senior Multimedia Producer

Under the direction of the Managing Editor, the Senior Multimedia Producer will act as the point person for reviewing and clearing archival and multimedia assets for a multimedia project on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. The Multimedia Textbook brings together distinguished scholarship, open access technology, and ethnic studies pedagogy to deepen public knowledge about Asian American and Pacific Islander histories. This resource is geared toward students and instructors in 9th-14th grade classrooms. The Senior Multimedia Producer will oversee research, tracking, and clearance of digital assets for our multimedia textbook project from initial research stages all the way through clearance. Applicants must have experience with research, archival pulls, clearing multimedia materials, fair use knowledge, and liaising with legal and production to clear images/footage/media assets for use. 3-5 years of experience curating multimedia as part of exhibits, publications, and/or media productions required. 2-3 years of experience with high school teaching, curriculum development, or educational technology development preferred.
