The selected candidate will teach an introductory Film History course within the Film Program. This faculty member will bring their expertise directly into the classroom. Growth of film from its origin to the French New Wave (1960's). Technical, economic, and social influence on cinema; development of film as an art. MFA in Film, Film Production, Film and Media Arts, Motion Pictures or related discipline required. A thorough knowledge of film history, including its conceptual and critical aspects, is essential.
