The Post Producer is responsible for managing and tracking one or several projects through post production including bidding, editorial, audio, finishing & delivery of a final product to the most technically advanced venue in the world. They are required to manage all aspects of a show, from the initial post breakdown and bidding process to planning, scheduling, budgeting and tracking progress of internal departments and vendors. They must prepare for and manage the anticipated while also planning for and covering the unanticipated needs of the project. This position acts as a point of contact for all aspects of post production, and works with departments inside and outside of post including Creative, Capture, Production, Lab, VFX, IO, Audio, Editorial, 4D, Advanced Engineering, Deliverables & Show Programming. The position reports to the Director of Post Production. Must have 5+ years' experience in post production as a Post Producer or Post Supervisor at a large studio/post house or production company with specific experience in post/VFX/digital/immersive production and the creation of special format media.Live event experience a plus. A deep understanding of technical aspects of post is required to deliver to the largest screen and most advanced venue in the world. Including but not limited to; resolutions, frame rates, file formats, delivery formats (including mixing formats within a single project), multiple codecs, experimental and established camera systems and multiple deliverable formats.
