Assistant Professor, Spanish Language Media and Film Creation

We are seeking a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor in Spanish Language Media and Film Creation starting in the Fall 2025. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses focused on the creation of media content in Spanish. The ideal candidate will have professional experience in the media professional ecosystem, particularly in Spanish-language content creation, along with a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and interdisciplinary collaboration. Community engagement and experience in culturally diverse settings will be highly valued. Ability to teach Latina/o Studies or Media Studies courses in area of expertise is required. A focus on the study of media and culture, queer studies and/or sexuality, contemporary immigration, or movements for social justice is a plus. Candidates with experience in community-based activism or social justice advocacy are encouraged to apply. Videographer

Work in our video team of 6 Videographers to record events and classes over the summer, while working at our camp. We are a coed camp divided into three 3-week sessions and we produce 40 full scale shows, in our 8 onsite theaters (Black Box to Proscenium to In the Round), over our summer season. We seek to employ energetic, youth oriented, hardworking + fun-loving individuals age 20+ older. The staff member in this position should have the basic understanding of how to use digital video camera, acting in front of the camera, camera angles, basic knowledge of the industry, and is a team player. Working in the film/tv industry is always a plus! Video Tech Teachers will be responsible for setting up and tearing down the video equipment during class time as well as during camp events that need to be filmed.
