Sources: Steelers plan to hire McCarthy as coach

The Steelers are planning to hire former Cowboys and Packers coach Mike McCarthy as their next head coach, sources tell ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Kansas star freshman Darryn Peterson will not play against Kansas State on Saturday night due to an ankle injury, a source told ESPN's Pete Thamel.
