As Staff Video Engineer in our Live Experiences team, you will be responsible for architecture, implementation, documenting, and operation of systems integrating with our live production and broadcast partners to deliver the best possible live quality across our digital products, globally. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and enhancing the paths by which live content reaches our digital platform, managing configurations for live events and channels, and coordinating with engineering and operations teams across the company to deliver next-gen live experiences with technologies like HDR, Immersive Audio, AI-based Accessibility, and more. Must have 10+ years of experience in live production workflows (specifically sports) from truck to consumer. Expertise in video technologies including UHD, HDR video, immersive audio, and video streaming required. Must demonstrate proven expertise in developing hybrid cloud-based/on-prem live video workflows. Deep understanding of video networking technologies including fiber networks, SMPTE 2110 networks, MPEG-TS, RTP Multicast, Zixi, SRT, and RTMP, required.
