We are actively seeking practicing artists with experience working with young people (3K-12th grade) for in-person, part-time contractual teaching positions in partnership with public schools and community-based organizations. Our programming takes place at sites across the five boroughs of New York City requiring our educators to be open to work opportunities in high-needs areas, particularly in the Bronx and Queens. We work with artists who specialize in one (or more) of the following artistic disciplines, but are specifically looking for artists with practices in the bolded areas: Digital Media: Animation, Content Creation, Filmmaking, Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, Photography, Podcasting. Bachelor's Degree or proven experience working in 3K-12 settings required. Must demonstrate expertise in an arts discipline through educational and/or professional accomplishments and maintains an active artistic practice.
