Night-Life Economy Commissioner John JC Collins said it was disappointing that Brisbane Arena wasnt going ahead as first proposed, but the concept of a private-public partnership to develop the entertainment precinct at Woolloongabba is a great outcome.Crisafulli said he had already seen pri...

Last Updated on March 12, 2018 by Marc SewardWhat are Isoflavones? You may well have heard that soy has specific health benefits because it is particularly high in a class of phytochemical known as isoflavones. While isoflavones are present in various legumes, soybeans have by far the most concentrated amounts of these potent compounds. Soy actually contains a number of isoflavones but the ones that appear to be most beneficial are isoflavones called genistein and daidzein.Estrogen-like EffectsIsoflavones are also a phytoestogen or a plant-based hormone that mimics the effects of human estrogen. SOY: Overview, Uses, Side Effects, Precautions, Interactions, Dosing and Reviews
2025-04-13 09:45:03| Spiritual Career Counseling
Overview Soy (Glycine max) comes from soybeans. The beans are a legume that come from China. They can be processed into soy protein, soy milk, or soy fiber. Soy contains isoflavones which are changed in the body to phytoestrogens. Phytoestrogen molecules are similar in chemical structure to the hormone estrogen. In some cases, these phytoestrogens can mimic the effects of estrogen. In other cases, these phytoestrogens can block the effects of estrogen. Soy is used for high cholesterol, high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, symptoms of menopause, and premenstrual syndrome (PMS). It is also used for many other conditions, but there is no good scientific evidence to support many of these uses.Uses & Effectiveness Possibly Effective for Breast cancer. Eating large amounts of soy might help prevent breast cancer or breast cancer recurrence in some people. But taking soy supplements doesn't seem to help. Long-term kidney disease (chronic kidney disease or CKD). Taking soy protein by...
