Thomas has back surgery, to miss PGA Tour start

Two-time major winner Justin Thomas announced Friday that he will miss the beginning of the 2026 PGA Tour season after undergoing back surgery.

Devils star Jack Hughes is being evaluated for a non-hockey injury on his hand, the team announced on Friday.

The division-leading Montreal Canadiens will be without forward Alex Newhook (ankle) and defenseman Kaiden Guhle (adductor) for the next few months.
