Tragedy in Bangkok: Fatalities rise in building collapse

Efforts to penetrate Zone C continue, as it is believed more people may be trapped there, a location where many fled during the incident. At 5pm yesterday, April 5, T the new State Audit Office building, Ekwaranyu Amrapal, the Bangkok Metropolitan spokesperson, updated on the rescue operations. He explained that attempts have been made to clear Zone A with a backhoe to move it to Zone B, where debris is densely packed. They are working to bring down the upper sections of the structure to facilitate access for the equipment. Around 10pm, plans were in place to clear Zone C, linked to the parking area, as it is suspected that more people might be trapped there, a spot where numerous people were seen escaping.
