The Video Coordinator will support our mission through producing video content to tell the organization's story. The video coordinator will research projects to determine needs; set up and direct studio and on-location video shoots; operate camera, sound and lighting equipment; and transform raw footage into compelling stories through post-production, editing, mixing and graphics. The videos will be used to generate inquiries, engage prospective and current students/families, connect alumni and solidify community partnerships. In addition to the creation of video content, the video coordinator will manage a video database and our Youtube channel. This position will assist with project management and will identify the purpose and intended outcomes of projects; ensure content enhances and strengthens understanding of institutional messages; coordinate with internal and external participants; and act as liaison between clients and other members of the marketing team. Must have an A.S. degree in a related field (communication, film production, broadcasting, or relevant related field) or the equivalent. One year of experience creating and managing video content required. Must demonstrate proven skills with post-production editing software, such as Final Cut Pro and Adobe Creative Cloud products (Premier Pro, After Effects, etc.) Experience with higher education marketing preferred.
