We seek a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor in Acting and Directing to begin on September 1, 2026. Primary responsibilities include teaching Theatre Arts majors in the undergraduate performance curriculum and directing one departmental theatre production annually. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in acting and directing at all levels of the curriculum, and will also direct a range of potential theatre productions. Ideally, candidates will have one or more additional strengths in such areas as fight choreography, musical theatre, and movement or voice for the actor. The position holds a 2/2 teaching load with the direction of a theater production counting as one class. Candidates must have a terminal degree (MFA or Ph.D.), experience teaching undergraduates, and professional experience in acting and/or directing. We are looking for a Director of Production, Exhibition Content and Media. This position will partner with creative leaders from across the company to define project needs, and will identify both in-house resources, as well as third party partners and vendors, to achieve project-specific creative objectives. This role will manage a team of internal creative resources, as well as being responsible for strong relationships (including contracting, negotiating, and oversight) with key external partners, vendors and studios. This role will be responsible for establishing project-specific processes, and overseeing production and delivery across multiple pipelines. Must have a minimum of 10 years of industry experience as a film, television or new media producer. Thorough understanding of all the creative processes of media production, including pre-production, design, casting, technical & pipeline setup, post-production, screenwriting, directing, editing and music, required.
