The Video Editor is responsible for the editing and assembling of recorded raw material into a suitable, finished product ready for broadcasting. The material may include camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, voiceovers, graphics and special effects. In addition, the Video Editor will be responsible for exporting and uploading show segments and materials online for social media and other platforms. Must have a minimum of five years of prior experience working in broadcast/cable news production with a minimum of three years of experience working in field production or similar environment. You are an experienced Content Producer that will play a key role in executing our digital strategy. Your creativity, technical skills, and communication skills will be essential in supporting the Marketing & Communications team in this position. Must demonstrate a strong understanding of producing/editing video for social and multi-media use, including organizing and importing raw media, editing footage and sound files, titling, and adding music/voice-over/SFX.
