We are pleased to invite applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor of Television Production. Tenure candidates are expected to engage in scholarly research and/or creative activity, as well as participating in service to the department, the school, and the university-including committee work and academic advising. The successful candidate will also demonstrate a commitment to developing curricula reflecting the diverse creative voices in contemporary television sports, entertainment, and news. Must have experience in contemporary multi-camera studio and field television production and post-production, and demonstrate the ability to develop curricula in the areas of multi-camera sports, entertainment, and news production. Terminal degree or master's degree in a related discipline and/or significant industry experience is required. Evidence of effective teaching at the undergraduate level is strongly preferred. Must be well versed in industry-standard live multi-camera production workflows, post-production techniques for multi-camera studio and field production, and in the operation of multi-camera studios and high-level digital studio technology, including but not limited to: Ross switchers, graphics systems and servers; digital audio consoles and intercom systems; routing; and lighting systems.
