An opportunity for a fixed-term/temporary Videographer/Editor is available. The Videographer/Editor is responsible for the shooting and editing of video for news programs, live coverage, breaking news, and other productions. The Videographer/Editor will work independently or as part of a team to create and edit pictures and sound which accurately and fairly represent the news, recording raw video and audio and turning it into finished product. The Videographer/Editor will be accountable for maintaining assigned equipment, including, cameras, lights, editors, and peripheral gear and initiating repairs when necessary. The Videographer/Editor is responsible for moderate level of administrative, logistical, and technical duties in the pre-production and production of live and scripted educational materials. Edits and produces digital assets, both audio and video, electronic still images, and online educational material for use by our personnel, and for commercialized and distributed educational media. Utilizes and demonstrates organizational skills, creativity, self-motivation, and a high degree of content creation and video editing skills. Bachelor's Degree preferred. An Associate or Technical Degree in Visual Production, Mass Media or five years of experience in media production in lieu of an associate or technical degree is required.
