We are searching for a creative, detail-oriented Videographer/Editor with a passion for storytelling and high-quality visual production. This role is ideal for someone who possesses strong technical expertise, a refined creative vision, and the ability to transform complex ideas into compelling multimedia content. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, able to manage multiple projects, and deliver high production value assets under tight deadlines. They should be highly adaptable, capable of responding to and synthesizing feedback efficientlysometimes on short notice. Must have 3+ years of experience in a professional videography and post-production editing role. Proficiency with professional camera equipment, including Sony A7sIII, Sony FX6, or similar required. The Head of Production is responsible for all elements of the marketing production process, including video, photography, and occasionally physical products. They are responsible for leading Death Machine in being a world-class in-house production studio. In this role, the Head of Production is responsible for delivering all projects on time, within budget, and of the highest quality. They manage a team of producers below them to coach and ensure all projects are accomplished with the same level of polish. Scrapiness, ingenuity, and precision are of the utmost importance. They value finding a great solution over throwing money at problems. They are expected to lead the department by example, finding creative solutions to difficult production situations. They manage relationships with external collaborators and vendors to get excellent work at the lowest costs. Additionally, they must work cross-functionally with other departments marketing, legal, finance to ensure all work is well documented and executed in line with all constraints. Besides managing the production process, this role also functions as a creative partner to the creative team (and in particular to the VP Creative) to continue to develop the work as it's shepherded through the production process. This role is located in Los Angeles, CA. Must have 10+ years experience in production at an ad agency, in-house marketing department, and production house. Line producer experience required.
