We are looking for a New Jersey based, talented, aggressive, self-starting freelance videographer, editor. The ideal candidate should be able to shoot, edit (and occasionally write) clearly and creatively. Must also be capable of operating assigned camera and editing gear. The freelance videographer, editor will work independently or as part of a team to create pictures and sound which accurately and fairly represent the news, recording raw video and audio and turning it into finished high-quality newsmagazine product. Associate or bachelor's degree in journalism or communications preferred, master's degree is a plus. Must demonstrate proven proficiency as a videographer using higher end Sony Cameras. 5+ years of digital post-production experience required; editing in Adobe Premiere Pro.
