The Broom Crown is a very capable coastal vessel and yet still of comfortable dimensions for the inland navigations. This one has cruised the rivers and canals of France, Holland, Germany and Belgium and spent the last few years navigating the canal du midi and Med. coast here in the south of France. This is a really nice example of a simple, solid, yet comfortable motor cruiser with timeless classic appeal. Sold "ready to use" with crockery, cutlery, pots/pans, glasses etc. all included. Her previous owners include a well known 60's pop star and a retired sea captain. Her current owner is a Royal Navy retired engineer. She has been well maintained and lovingly cared for throughout her life. She has 2 diesel 180hp Mercruiser engines with low hours. She can reach speeds of up to 32 knots but for more economical cruising is happy at 20-25 knots. She is fitted with a powerful bow thruster making manoeuvring into tricky berths easy. The spacious interior offers luxurious accommodation with ample space around the cabin table which drops down to make a large double berth. The galley is located to port with the heads and shower opposite. The aft cabin has a large double berth with access to the heads.
