Character Boats - Lytham Pilot REF#341654

2025-03-30 21:46:12| Boatshed.com Recent Boats

Register with Boatshed to see 109 extra photos of this Character Boats - Lytham Pilot .The craft has rigid buoyancy built in and is certified as a category C craft for three persons under the EU recreational craft directive. Like all Character Boats the Lytham Pilot can be launched with the rudder and engine in place, as they are protected by the keel, and therefore can be sailed immediately afloat without the hassle of getting into deeper water to ship a rudder or lower a centre-plate. This appears a very sturdy boat with a reputation for good sailing performance. It looks ideal for teaching children to sail, or for the owner who wants a small but stable and forgiving craft. This Lytham Pilot is available with both a Gaff Rig and a Gunter rig. She has two mast positions allowing use of either as a single sail rig with the mast forward for simple leisurely sailing or with the mast aft for a gaff sloop rig. The boat is well balanced under either sail plan. The spars are a similar length to the boat, making for easy transport. The Lytham Pilot has a stowage locker under the foredeck and an aft locker which is large enough to store a small 4 stroke outboard engine, its bracket and spare fuel. The engine is mounted on a removable bracket which simply slots into a base plate mounted on the transom, which is less obtrusive than a permanent bracket. Oars are stowed along the side seating leaving the cockpit unobstructed. The boat comes with associated warps and equipment to get her on the water. These boat details are subject to contract. Beneteau Cyclades 50.4 REF#341632

2025-03-30 17:46:02| Boatshed.com Recent Boats

Register with Boatshed to see 111 extra photos of this Beneteau Cyclades 50.4 .A nice, well presented version of the Beneteau Cyclades 50.4. The Beneteau Cyclades model line are comparable to the Oceanis line but targeted to compete with more economically priced competitor boatbuilder models. Cost savings were achieved, predominantly through less emphasis on interior design and materials. This boat shows some modifications and upgrades to the accommodation spaces to bring it to the next level. The interior is very clean and obviously well cared for. Interior floor finishes look recent. All benchtops, tabletops and other high traffic surfaces appear clean and stain-free. Headliner areas are all hard-surface materials for easier cleaning and maintenance than vinyl/upholstery alternative materials. The forward double cabins have been converted into a single, roomy master suite with the port side head converted to a laundry room. One or two toilets have been removed to reduce the need for unnecessary maintenance but the plumbing and holding tanks remain so the appliances could be re-installed if needed. No significant mechanical, structural or other operational issues noted by seller. This Beneteau Cyclades 50.4 has been personally photographed and viewed by Craig Nicholls of Boatshed St Maarten.
