Register with Boatshed to see 89 extra photos of this Hunter Horizon 273 Twin keels.Boatshed Essex are pleased to be presenting this Hunter Horizon 273, which was the last model in the popular Hunter range. They have a reputation as comfortable cruising boats, with a good sailing performance, partly due to the Hunter 'twin fin' keel re design. The twin keels also provide wider sailing opportunities, for a boat capable of drying-out, cruising rivers and estuaries, but also able to make extended coastal passages. The running rigging is led aft and well thought through, being manageable for single handed and family sailors alike. The boat is tidy, with spacious accommodation that is comfortable to use both at sea and in port and with a separate aft double cabin When I visited the boat I was struck by its great potential for good sailing performance and spacious, comfortable accommodation. With many uses and positive features, this boat has lots to offer singlehanded and group sailors or small families alike. The owners comment 'the boat sails well, with a good turn of speed and handles well in close quarters'. If you would like any further information or to arrange a personal viewing, then please contact our office and we would be pleased to help. These boat details are subject to contract. Register with Boatshed to see 80 extra photos of this Mitchell 31 Mk II.We are pleased to offer this Mitchell 31 MkII, which is a rugged, seaworthy motor cruiser originally developed in the UK during the 1970s, with the 1976 MkII variant being one of the most popular and enduring versions. Designed primarily for offshore and coastal cruising, the Mitchell 31 is renowned for its solid construction, excellent sea-keeping abilities, and practical layout. Over the past two years, this boat has undergone extensive upgrades and improvements. Highlights include a professionally built and installed custom stainless steel rudder, precision-machined rudder stock, stainless steel stern tube, and a custom-fabricated stainless steel water lock, along with associated components. A custom-manufactured prop shaft has also been fitted, featuring water-lubricated shaft and rudder bearings. The vessel now boasts a completely new hydraulic steering system, including emergency steering capabilities. A new bilge pump system has been installed, comprising two Rule computerized automatic bilge pumps with all associated wiring. In addition to the significant mechanical upgrades, the boat is equipped with a top-tier Raymarine Axiom navigation and electronics package. This includes two 12" HybridTouch monitors, a Raymarine Quantum Radome, fishfinder sonar, and a Raymarine autopilot system. The value of the Raymarine equipment and its professional installation alone is estimated at around 10,000. Originally being prepared for charter fishing, the vessel also comes with a comprehensive array of safety equipment. This includes a selection of life jackets, an 8-man life raft with EPIRB, a separate ACR EPIRB, a SOLAS grab bag with essential gear, flares, and first aid supplies. A significant amount of money has been invested in this boat over the last two years. She is now ready for coding and charter use, or would make an excellent, well-equipped private day boat. Unfortunately due to health reasons, the current owner is no longer possible to continue with the project. These boat details are subject to contract. Register with Boatshed to see 144 extra photos of this Wasa 38 .This is a great looking and very imposing Wasa 38 yacht! Her sleek lines and Scandinavian build suggest a great performance, couple with strength and build quality. Her upper deck is spacious and allows for lots of crew movement and rig adjustment on the hop - there is a comprehensive rig and her owner testifies to her speed. Down below, we have a large, open and voluminous interior - well laid out in a fairly conventional way, with room for family or large crew to rest and relax in style. She needs a good clean through and there will be jobs to do - some will comment upon her upper deck teak, but she's priced to sell and anyone looking for solid performance, with creature comforts would be recommended to come and visit her at Eastbourne. VAT was paid at import and we can provide evidence. These boat details are subject to contract. Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered. This Wasa 38 has been personally photographed and viewed by Tim Kingston of Boatshed Eastbourne.
