Well designed and thought out, the fin keeled version performs well and is a strong, seagoing family cruiser with a quality fit out below This boat has been in the same family for years, a regular across the channel but now she's been in the yard for a while due to ill health. Recent upgrades include a replacement engine (still only 30 ish hours), standing rigging and upholstery. She has a good suit of sails, they're clean and dry and look in good order and although her navigation instruments are old they should do the job. She is remarkably clean, dry and fresh below. Both the upholstery and headlinings are recently replaced and very smart and the long windows give her a bright airy feel. She has a well equipped galley, lots of usable storage and is ashore in a good clean yard to be prepped for the season These boat details are subject to contract. She appears to be very tidy and benefitting from a lot of recent upgrades such as new sails and electronics. She has just been launched having been antifouled March 2025. Owner comment: My yacht has undergone an extensive refit (between 2006 and 2012) by the previous owner, who is a marine trade professional. The interior has been completely rebuilt, and all systems replaced. I do not have enough time to spend on the boat and would hate to see the current great condition of the vessel deteriorate, so would like to pass the ownership of this GRP Classic to a better custodian. This spacious and attractive boat offers a huge amount of space and practicality in a stylish 28 foot length. These are rare boats with just a scant handful ever built and are a very similar layout to the ever popular Falcon 27 with just more space and rarity. This particular boat has been lovingly cared for by her owner who has spent a lot of money ensuring she is mechanically right with a local mercruiser specialist. She has a current BSS and Broads license. The very spacious accommodation, both inside and out, is quite remarkable and would not be out of place on a larger boat. Her large alfresco cockpit has sumptuous seating for at least 8 people. The interior space is just as impressive with nice wrap-around saloon seating which converts to a comfy double berth. A good sized aft double cabin is a nice feature too. She also boasts a well appointed heads and shower compartment which completes this lovely boat. With her warm air heating she is equipped for all year cruising. She had a recent Bailey and Stone canopy 2 years ago. The looks and rare nature of this boat turn heads wherever she goes and the accommodation will be sure to please every time you step aboard and enjoy her bright interior space.
