The 'take-it-back' movement has insisted on staging a nationwide protest today against the emergency rule in Rivers State as well as what it called human rights abuse and misuse of Cybercrime Act.This is even as the Nigeria Police Force has warned the organisers to shelve their planned nationwide protest, describing the timing of the demonstration as ill-conceived and mischievous. The Force noted that April 7, 2025 has been set aside by the Federal Government for maiden edition of National Police Day.But the organisers said its move was premised on "ugly trends" in the country. The take-it-back movement said it called for a nationwide demonstration to address what it called the "authoritarianism of President Bola Tinubu administration, abuse of human rights and the misuse of the Cybercrime Act."It would be recalled that from August 1 to 10, 2024, many protesters, mostly youths, trooped to major cities across the nation to demand immediate action from the federal government on the cost of...

Marvel Mocks Spider-Man Fans With Mary Jane Venom Wedding Cover
2025-04-22 08:45:03| Spiritual Career Counseling
Objection! Artist John Romitas classic cover for 1987s Amazing Spider-Man Annual #21 was somewhat misleading. Unlike the direct market cover, which depicted the tuxedoed Peter Parker and his lavishly-styled bride Mary Jane Watson with their friends and family, the more famous newsstand edition showed a red-and-blue-suited Spider-Man marrying Mary Jane. Videos by ComicBook.comThe actual hitching of Peter and MJ went off without a hitch, and the couple lived happily ever after until the infamously controversial Spider-Man: One More Day made it so that they were never married, and Spider-Man: One Moment In Time retconned the wedding issue after effectively resetting Spider-Man for the Brand New Day era in 2008. Its still a sore point for fans who...
